History

In 1928 H. van Tiel established a company. This consisted of a coal business, livery stable, farm transport milk, forage and a cafe.
After the Second World War were dump cars of the British and U.S. army purchased.
These cars were prepared itself to civilian vehicles.

In 1948 H. van Tiel died and the company was acquired by LC van Tiel.
He was many years working as a chief transport at Van Grieken Melk at Den Haag (The Hague).
In 1952, the livery stable and cafe divested.
Around 1955 we stopped with the coal as the oil and subsequently gas, was strong in advance.
The company focused now on (food) transport. The maintenance was always in his own hand.

In 1958 L. van Tiel started in the company. He started as crew, was then driver and since 1964 owner of the company. Under his leadership it grew to what it is today.
Besides transportation, the company is now also working with storage and handling.
Since 1993, the company is ISO 9001 certified.

Until 1989 the company was established in Kethel, a village in Schiedam, but because of expansion it was forced to move.
The company is now located at the Wilhelmina port in Schiedam.

The number of trucks has grown to about 40 and the total staff is about 46 people.
